This error is really weird :hithead:
I just did some tests and (yay quoting myself ) ...

Are you missing the "Logger" file in "scripts\Custom\GravityFX" or did it not create a .pyc file from it?
... this does generate a "missing module" error and an unresponsive mainMenu, but

Quote
(or even more unlikely, is the file missing the  Lines (there should be 2) ? )
disabling those lines seems to give me exactly the same Errors (not surprising) and behaviour like in you case (well, i haven't tried if it CTDs after adding a ship)

I just don't get how these functions could go missing, all of a sudden :wtf

Could you switch the "Galaxy Charts Logger Support" options (especialy the Traveller options) under its main Menu Options? (somwhere like Customize -> GalaxyCharts -> Logger)
Also, are there any "Travel_XYZ_LOG.txt" files in "scripts\Custom\GalaxyCharts\Logs\" afterwards?
that would still be helpfull (, i guess...).

No log files by that name.

EDIT: Update.  Without Galaxy Charts turned on, I can engage in Quick Battles.  So whatever is going on is obviously Quick Battle related, which makes no sense, I reinstalled both Galaxy Charts and Gravity FX when this crap happened.

In what order did you reinstall GC and Gravity FX?
-Galaxy Charts includes a version 1.2 of the logger file, so I guess Gravity FX came with v1.x<2

Unless BCUT nabbed something else in the process, yes.

BCUT will delete what was specified by the people who built the package(s), nothing more. However there are some mods which put extra stuff in their packages which causes problems or the packages don't have proper folder structure. Uninstaller simply traces back and assumes that everything is in order and deletes the files. I should have probably implemented an option to manually deselect files into it due to this.
