Title: SFP Gagarin tga texture request help

i have a request because i suck at photoshop and i have been trying this and just cannot succeed...
i really do like this ship, but to me the nacelles glow of the ship seem a little too white-ish in color...  just a personal thing...
i would like to change my ship to have more of a TNG blue glow but i cannot seem to be able to alter the two tga files...
is there anyone out there that might have a few free minutes to spare that could whip this up for me and i would love you forever?   :D

a few screenshots of ship ingame and i have uploaded the model folder...  it is nld_glow.tga and nrd_glow.tga that have the nacelle texture i just cant seem to make a more deeper blue...  am i making any sense?   :hithead:

*grins* coulda asked me, too.  this one's part of my collection and install.  and, frankly, jimmy, I agree with you, the plasma's too white :P  call this one of the few time starforce got something off.

Not having BC installed, I edited the plasma according to what I *think* looks good. Dunno how it actually looks ingame, but should be fine :P

Made some deflector modifications.

Attached the original (slightly less bright) deflector, as well as two deflector variants. One a bit more blue, and one gold. But by all means KCS, feel free to provide your alternatives :)

Only thing I'm not a fan of, is the apparent "shading" issues judging by those pics above. Nothing I can fix on my end however.

believe me, I had a peek at the textures a few hours after you'd already tweaked it (only getting to look at or work on something a grand total of four hours a day is a pain in the butt). and noticed how overall BLAND my copy is (and the obvious cut and paste jpeg edges on a couple of texture blocks) I think the whole thing needs a minor brightening on the body and some contrast enhancements.
