Whilst looking through Youtube it recommended me a video about a simulator called Space Engine, and I got to say its fantastic! It generates entire galaxys right down to planets procedully and you get some fanatastic views, any one else got this?

Ive played a little with this. Imagine the limitless creation power one could have at their disposal when coded to work with a game engine!

For those intrested I took I picture of a ringed planet in orbit of a single star system.

I've been using this for I think a year now? It was before he even had a separate English site. Pretty awesome

Hes adding Procedural galaxies in the next big update.

Fun things: Pandora from Avatar is in here, as well as Caprica's quadruple Starsystem from Battlestar Galactica "Cyrannus"

I found an interesting planet with life

Binary Star System of an Orange Dwarf and Red Dwarf. Its 2.5Million KM from the Red Dwarf and 4.3 AU from the Orange Dwarf.

I was doing that yesterday before seeing this post. No luck so far.
