i am wondering if this can be done or is difficult to do?
it seems like it would be difficult and/or annoying to do...
i would like to have 2 Reman Scimitars in my install, one with Cannons and one with only disruptor beams... there aren't any such HP Mods out there that would have a Scimitar with beams, which i would love to have ingame...
thoughts?

of course. it's complicated, of course. the second Scimitar will have to have its own plugin entry and hardpoint unless someone managed to combine MVAM and weapon swapping (which sounds like A job for MLeo or another master scripter). you'd have to replace the pulses with phasers in the hardpoint.

yeah i figured as much...

i do plan on having two Scimitars, they could actually be the same model, just different scripts... that much is easy...
unless someone managed to combine MVAM
i dont need MVAM, just a second Scimitar that fires disruptor beams instead...
i have never been good at creating things in MPE...

don't worry, it'd be pie for a hardpointer. the fun part is substituting a torpedo script for a pulse one, which is how wiley did it for a Soverign.
