How do I view all the topics that I (or any other user) has created.

Go to Profile. Under the Profile Info heading on the left side there are the options:

Where's the Show Topics? Just curious becuase i've seen this feature on all the other forums i've been on.

It's not a huge deal but it'd be faster when it comes to bouncing over the threads a user has made checking for new replies. (I don't clutter my inbox with automated mail from forums and even if I did my email client isn't left open all day).

i guess we've just never needed that feature before...  best bet is to go to a forum and sort the "Started By" section and then it will alphabetize thread authors and then you can find who youre looking for in that forum...

Okay, guess that's the workaround.

No sweat on the feature though if you've never needed it when the forum was more active you're not gonna need it now it's almost a virtual graveyard :P

well, i wouldnt describe BCC as almost a virtual graveyard...  go to KM or BCS, theyre pretty much as such...  this place still has about 100ish members logging in daily and about 1500ish new posts per month...

well clearly everything in life starts off (as BC did in 2002) has a peak (2003-2006/2007) and then fades off gradually...
in fact, you can see from the forum stats, things havent dropped off all that significantly since this forum was created in late 2006...  far from a virtual graveyard tho...
pretty much every other trek gaming community has died out yet this place still remains active...

SMF by default does not implement such functionality. So no, we don't have such a feature.

Which begs the question:

- Keep SMF 1.1.16
- Upgrade SMF to 2.0.x
- Convert to other forum software

I'm fine with either choice, just throwing the idea out there :)

I'm sure there is a mod that can add this feature. I don't believe it's nessesary to change the entire forum software.

we've never needed the feature before as it has never been brought up until now...
it is unlikley it would be added in at this point unless sovvy or limey have the time to search for such a thing (if it exists) and then install it and whatever else would be needed...
