Title: The Best Quality Ships and Mods
Post by: ChronowerX_GT on May 22, 2008, 10:04:15 AM: I thought this thread would be useful to most people so we can get a list of the best ships that have been released on BC Files. There's quite a few forgotton gems over there and I thought this would be a way to revive them. These should be ships of the high quality. Please only post ships that you've tried.

I'll just throw in some support for Phaser's pack, it's friggin' brilliant. I tinkered with the bussards on the Enterprise, though (sorry Phaser), using a modified TOS-HD screencap. See attached screen.

While we're on the TOS subject, some nice, rare, stylised designs can be got in this pack:

In a sense this is like hitting two birds with one stone, one of the most significant mod ever created for BC. The MVAM scripts which not only presented the best Prometheus class to date, but also serves as a platform from which allowed for many many other mods to gain better quility and fun mostly by adding the ability to seperate the ship into smaller sections during game-play(http://bridgecommander.filefront.com/file/MVAM_Infinite;26555x#355142).

Another very useful(very easy to miss)mod is the script which allows for emediate power transfer from back up to main or vice versa, found it more useful than I ever imagined(http://bridgecommander.filefront.com/file/Power_Transfer;100109).

and I'd drop the Hutet/Ketracell White facility pair. the textures and models are fine, but they are overmassed in the hardpoint, and refuse to turn (i prefer the KM version of the Hutet)
