This is sweet! I may not have played ME yet(and probably won't until Microsoft releases their stranglehold over porting ME1), but I am a big fan of the design of this ship. Pre-ordered!

WANT!
-
looks ace !
with a little bit of luck Bioware will grant me permission to release Normandy SR1 and SR2 as well as Turian frigate and fighter, Asari flagship - Destiny Ascension, Geth troop transport and raider, Human Alliance dreadnaught and fighter + if BC will finally allow me then there might be a Reaper as well (Sovereign) :)

The only ones I'm familiar with at all are the Normandies. :p

no need to :P

Those are pretty Bones!

Bioware isn't responding ... I tried with contact@bioware.com but got only automated response about no need for feedback or stuff like that, webmaster@bioware.com isn't responding (I guess it's because that contact is about bioware.com site problems etc. ... there's one more email contact but it concerns job interests ... dunno what to do now :idk:
oh and sorry for thread hijack

Mass Effect Forums
I'm 50% sure they'll be an official, who can let you do this.

Good news. I have a green light to release those ships, as long as I won't make profits from them and Bioware will be credited it's all ok :D

Awesome!!!!!! What ships will there be, also that Alliance ship is my favourite.

I'm planning to port as much as I can, so far I got Normandy SR1 and SR2, Turian frigate, Destiny Ascension, Alliance Dreadnaught and mass relay tho it will require some work to look at least half as good as in ME (it will not be animated - no rotating rings)
I'm planning to also port Turian fighter, Alliance fighter, Geth Cruiser and troop transport and of course Sovereign

Make sure this soverign has a completely different name, so nothing get overwritten.
-
I'm sure Bones is perfectly aware of that.
-
I guess I will call it simply The Reaper ;)

Ah the SR-2 in alliance Colors.
gotta love there paint jobs.
^^^Is this why the SR-2 that's in Bones' screenies is different from the images of the replica?
-
SR-2 was built by the Cerberus while SR-1 was Alliance's ship... still don't understand why they painted the replica blue... Alliance use white/black with red stripes while Cerberus use white/black with yellow stripes
-
Judging from the E3 trailer released in my recently made thread, which shows a mostly black repainted Normandy, maybe the ME3 Normandy is this new black/blue color! Looks pretty sexy, IMO. :D

Can't remember were I read, likely the Mass Effect 3 Thread on SB.Com, but the Alliance took the SR-2 apart, to see what made it tick (in all likely hood, fully upgraded SR-2, is cannon), plus getting there hands on that A.I., which isn't an Homicidal Manic, would be a bonus.
Oh then they put it back together. But this is not an Cerberus Frigate anymore, it's Alliance....so no more Leather seats, Jokers gonna be pissed.

We could simulate the First Contact war... Win!

As if he wasn't pissed enough when the SR-1 went down? As a side note, watched a playthrough of the game on YouTube, so between that and the free digital comic, I should be plenty prepped to pick up ME2. The demo certainly caught my interest.

Double-posting, and I have a reason. There's a variant of the Normandy being made with the Cerberus colors.
