Get this, and 'with the Click of a Button' you can be playing Old CE.

damn ! I was sooo excited until I found out it's for XBOX only  :facepalm:  PC Halo players were left with only Halo CE and Halo 2 (which was a bust btw... not even XBOX buttons were replaced from main menu   :lostit: ) while there are additional 4 games there that never made it to PC :(

And I'm still not getting a 360 JUST for the Halo series.

I hope they do the same for halo 2 (prolly after a few years, we'ill be asking for halo 3 remastered as wel)

Hopefully, it'll still have the charm of the original version.

As moddie for HaloFiles, I posted about the news of this, and Halo 4 ages back.

I'm sure they won't detract from the original game's plot or pacing.  Worst case scenario is new enemies and easter eggs off to the side I'd say.

And one more thing - I don't have a 360, so I've never played any of the other games besides Halo CE.  However, that does not stop me from enjoying the well crafted universe.  Halopedia has been a great friend for letting me follow what is going on in the world of John 117. ;)

From what I've seen they will not alter the gameplay but are just updating the graphics and sounds, etc. They're also adding in Terminals like in Halo 3 but with more of a motion comic feel to them as opposed to a wall of text. Also if you pre-order you get access to the "Grunt Funeral" skull which makes Grunts explode like plasma grenades when you kill them. Idk about you guys but that sounds like a lot of fun.
