Title: Starbase will not load
Post by: Picard_1 on June 08, 2008, 04:04:17 AM
The starbase doesn't load when loading the Starbase 12 system. I've attached a console report.

The Starbase 12 system isn't meant to be casually loaded, it takes a few extra steps.

How are you loading the system?

I select starbase 12 as the system to load in, then I select my bridge, player ship, and
finally enemies or friendlies.

Then it mostlikely won't work.

Could you attach scripts/Custom/Autoload/LoadNanoFX.py?

Sure, here you go.

You got the NanoFXv2Beta "fix" that actually introduces more errors. *sigh*

Don't bother loading the Drydock system.

Now, as for a fix, for now, just don't go to either the Starbase or the Drydock systems.

Is that the script that fixes the blinking lights not disappearing after a ship explodes?
What other errors have been known to happen?

It's not a big deal, but I am working on a multiplayer mod little by little in my spare time.
I was hoping to have everything working when I do release it.

No, to make matters worse, it doesn't even fix any real issue.

The issue it was try to fix (and failed) was "it didn't include every system".
