Does anyone know why the damage textures are not applied, and the glow maps
are not disabled for the Wolf 359 system in KM 1.0?
-
Are you in a QB session or an MP session?

-
IU dont know that system yet.
are there wrecks oder damaged ships??
I remember ds9fx that it delets wrecks for better game performance?!
-
I'm in a QB session. The damage textures and disabled glow maps work just fine in the Junkyard system, but not in the Wolf 359 system.

-
Do any other systems have the same problems?

Does it change after you have loaded the Wolf 359 system?
Meaning, do damage textures and disabled glow maps still work after you enter/load the Wolf 359 system?
-
I think Junkyard and Wolf 359 are the only systems with damaged ships, and the problem
 only occurs in W.359.

When I enter/load the system, the damage textures/disabled glow maps are not applied and they do not apply themself at a later time. They remain undamaged with glow maps enabled.

What he said. But it can get a bit annoying.
-
Well if Junkyard works fine, but W.359 doesn't, is there a problem with the W.359 system scripts
 or something else?
-
Perhaps you can root through KM (if that's what you are using) and find all the scripts and data for W359 and then copy them over to your BC directory. Perhaps some got over written when you installed another mod.

-
Maybe, but I didn't add any system mods to KM 1.0. I keep my
 install fairly clean.
-
I've been looking through the scripts, and all the damaged ships are configured as "hulks", meaning you can't interact with them. Nor can you damage them more.

But they ought to be damaged.
Nor is there any other code that (I could see and) could do this.
-
That's what gets me. The ships in Junkyard are configured as Hulks too.

-
Did you install any new damage textures? I don't really see how it could effect the game but it's the best suggestion i've got :D

-
Yeah I installed Flux Capacitor's damage textures, but the problem existed before that. I think it's definitely a script issue.

-
I have the same problem as him.

-
You can try and deactivate the cleanup/stability scripts of DS9FX (and maybe Galaxy Charts).
 It's all in UMM menu's.
