Title: Is KM compatible with my current mod?

I finally got the stargate ship pack to work. I'm sure I've seen it played with KM, but the KM readme says it has to be on a clean copy of 1.1. Is this true or is KM really compatible with stargate ship pack. Can they be played together?

you need to install KM on a clean 1.1 BC install then you can install mods on top of it.

keep in mind though that if you do install anything over KM you will not be able to play MP on any KM servers

Also, how do you dial the gate in the ship pack? I have MVAM.

I don't think you can "dial" them. Not Sure but I think they can launch Shuttles (Darts and stuff), Maybe you can also MVAM them if you use one as playership.

The gates are not dialable, I think Rob was working on dialable gates though.
