Title: Question about Slipstream

I recently installed Slipstream Framework and noticed that when in the slipstream, I can see the effect forward but when I look at any particular ship that's in the slipstream from the front (with the nacelles for example pointing away from the screen), everything behind the ship is blank... or actually, a single shade of color.

Is that the way it's supposed to be?
