Title: Why my target ships is blow up easily when I using Borg ships...

************ Hailing Frequency Open****************** tuuutt...

Hi there... I got a trouble here, that every ships I use against my Borg's Ship (Galaxy class) is always ended before it's critical hardpoints or hull reach zero.... ?   :s
For example... I using the Borg ships against Akira... and I targeted her Warp Core.... when it reach 25% ... the ships suddenly blow up!   :wtf

The same goes with my C2XV3 Galaxy class  :'( , her warp core reach 50% and her hull still 95%.... but again... it's blow up... :argh:

What's is the possibility of the error there? Since I was a newbie.. :D... which is line I need to recheck in the Galaxy's script?   :dance

Oh ya... the first difference.. I found is the "damage radius factor" is 0.4 ...Is the setting caused it?  :s

does right when the targets shields get below 10% does the warp core blow?

Well not immediately blow anyway....   :P....it's very similar to when u destroying enemy's warp core/bridge, the difference is this time when the targeted warp core reach 25% (sometimes it's random too)  :arms: after continuous hits (and my phaser is still hitting the warp core, when it's occurs)....... the subsystem windows suddenly closed and the triangle shape in the side of Target's Name is disappeared as well... as if telling that the ships is already destroyed...  :wtf and then the ship's hull is decreasing gradually until its reach zero and blow up.  :'(

This's only happen when I using that Galaxy's Borg ships's phaser ... well I didn't try using my torpedo yet anyway...  :hide  I think i'll check it soon as well....  :dance

Sounds like a misplaced critical is on in them. Only hulls and warp cores should have that IMHO.

Okay... here dead thunder...  :dance sorry it's take so long since I messed my GallBorg ship script. :roll (I don't know why , because I didn't touch them before)...At first I dunno know which ships is causing problem, I got my game kick out every time I get onto the quick battle. :wtf So I reinstall it... still failed....and then deleting and reinstalling.... success....but.... I forgot  :eek to back up the screenshoot folder....  

And then I found that my trouble Gallborg is the suspect  :argh: so i check it again line by line... :assimilate it's take a looooong jurney you know....  :D And finally I got the wrong line there.... I put a wrong folder name on the Ship.py .. :eek.. ufff... a simple mistake.... I didn't realized it since the error symptom is different.  :angel

Okay here the screenshot :
Picture 1 -10 is the first round, while 11-19 is the second round. Both of them using the same ships. I shoot them every several frame... I didn't missed even a slightiest change there... :D

Sorry my english is bad... so there may be several strange word. :P

Well...umm... sorry... I think u got it wrong ....  :evil The one is destroyed is the stock ship... :funny... so the trouble one is the attacking ship which is my current troubled borg ships.... tehe.... :D

Could be because of damage to the model. If parts of the model that contain a critical system are missing that system is sometimes also considered destroyed even if it still had lots of health points.

Hmmm... by the way ... thanks deadthunder & teleguy.. :D.  I think I can figure out what's wrong here.... since deadthunder ask me to post the screenshot, when I try to shoot it, I found that the "hole" caused by the borg's phaser damage is so big... :evil.. so I think it's may caused the ship lost it's warp core, just like teleguy's said.  ;)
But in this case, I'm not sure that my Akira or Galaxy class is lost it's warp core either....  :(
Since I damaging my galaxy class's war core from ventral side and galaxy's warcore is located right behind her neck, it's quite imposible for her neck to break apart anyway....   :D

hmmm.... but I have modify the phaser damage radius factor to 0.2 , and the error one didn't reappear anymore  :dance. Even I still wondering  :s what's makes my ships is destroyed before it's targeted core health didn't reach zero yet.  :argh:
