true enough but when the rest of tv the rest of the year consists of utter poo then :yay:  :dance to the first ever film of startrek... besides i just bought startrek 2 on dvd so its nice to see the first one too (been a while lol)
-
I'm watching it too! The last 3 times I've seen a Star Trek film on TV were Insurrection and Nemesis x 2.
But I do find that I'm... less enthusiastic... about this one...
-
but its still trek... proper trek too
but now its finished :(

smack him in the face with a brick lol :D
if i could find the guy resposible i would
(side note: in case you dont know what "big brother" is its a rubish show which puts odd people in a house and they are filmed whilst the tv show operators give them embaresing, or agument, or hate inducing tasks = reality tv = me )
-
oh! lol ya i know about that show...
i thought you meant you had a brother that was older than you that changed the tv station or turned the tv off or whatever :funny
-
You need to watch Top Gear then if the the rest of the programs are rubbish..
-
I was suprised to see TMP on the other night to.
But after Kirk left the bridge to to kick Decker out of the Captains chair I turned the Telly off, it was a school night after all. :D
-
top gears ok i spose.... but i want my bbc 2 startrek nights back, used to love coming home to trek at 6 lol (but 8/9 would be fine too)
thing is if i was tv controller of bbc i'd put a RANGE of programs on, not just pander to those soap lovers and reality tv junkies.... i mean what ever happened to wild life on one?
geez uk tv has become so "low-brow" you know what i mean?
-
The BBC channels here in the US are showing TNG quite often lately...
-
Virgin1 in the UK were doing runs of TNG, DS9 and Voyager, I haven't checked to see if they've switched back to the X-Files again.
-
i only have terestial tv no free view or virgin or sky... cant afford the latter 2 and the former one dosent work at my house
-
Virgin 1 is a Freeview channel (a pleasant surprise for me). Its easy to just buy a TV with inbuilt Freeview, shouldnt be too hard to find a decent sized cheapo one. :)
-
Problem is that some locations don't have digital freeview yet...
On a side-note, Virgin 1 still show TNG, Voyager and DS9... I think they show Enterprise later...
And CBS Action show TOS-R! :D
-
most times I use em for research, seen em about 20 times but not all.
-
Star Trek V next saturday on Channel 4. (If anyone hasn't noticed the films are on in order every saturday evening)
