Every time I launch QB I get a message telling me shieldpercentages.py has no init value ; and poking around in the .py file I found a string that says init and has nothing inside the parentheses...could I be on the right track? :newbie:
-
Can you upload your shieldpercentages.py please?
-
Sure thing...
-
ok this is strange. The file is correct and the version I released to bcfiles.
That there is nothing inside the parentheses is correct.
Is there anything in the console?
And which QBautostart version is that?
-
I'm using KM 2010.2 so...I'd assume .91 (or whatever version comes w/ KM 2010.2...)
BTW you do amazing work Defiant :D
And no tracebacks in the console.
-
Thanks but the truth is, I have no idea what is wrong here. The Shield Percentage should work fine in KM2010..
It should have worked beforeandit should work now...Did you always have this error?
Any mod you recently insalled on top?
-
No this is the first time I've ever had this error on any of my installs.
And I've installed DS9FX Xtended, the Slipstream framework, and the self-Manheim effect...those are the non-ship mods that didn't already come w/ KM...but until yesterday everything ran fine
-
-Does Shield Percentage still work even while displaying this error? (Displaying the numbers)
-What does happen when you remove shieldpercentage.py + .pyc
-
The problem is, I can't even get a battle started, talk to Saffi, do anything in QB... and I just deleted those two files and got a BSOD.
-
you can still get a console report on a BSOD
-
It won't let me open the console either! Hitting the tilde does nothing, even though I set BC to always open in test mode... :/
-
use MLeo's Console Logger which can be found in a stickied thread in this forum...
-
I can't even access the console upon BSOD...until...
I just installed the version on BCFiles...no longer BSOD, but I'm getting that message upon launch of QB...and there were no tracebacks in the console...
OK I'm all over the f*cking place now. I got one of those "abnormal termination" errors upon launch so I deleted options.cfg...and it BSODed my install, and I can't access the console...
