Title: A new Olympic class model?
Post by: Barihawk on March 18, 2012, 08:45:51 AM: I know this is stepping into request territory, but has anyone thought about making a new Olympic class model? When I left in 08 MarkyD was talking about building one, but it appears not to have panned out.

It's one of the classic TNG ships and the only model on BCFiles is over a decade old.

as a matter of fact, I was recently asked by the Yard head about the possibility of a retex of the original, in which I politely informed him the textures were Baked on, and couldn't be fixed, and I was of the opinion that the model needed redone anyway.

feel free, it's well past needed

He had it all but done 2 years ago but unfortunately lost it forever.
