Title: Nemesis Look (cg retexture including battle damage!)

this is my first upload to the bc community. it is a retexture of the CG sovereign, from the CG sov pack. it includes regular and nemesis battle damage. since this is my first retexture, id appreciate friendly criticism. let me kno if any improvements should be made. i believe i have credited everyone accordingly.

I got an idea too
maybe you can do the battle damage and the collision damage after Picard rammed the Scimitar

thank you very much! i wasnt sure what feedback id get on this. like bsilver said, it would require remodeling the model, which i cant do. but wut i can do is maybe make a texture for the dry dock, which would be before what you see at the end of nemesis. it would be wrecked but with some minor framework done to it. it might not look as cool tho

This is indeed a excellent idea, I assume the damaged sov will have a altered HP.

hmm, i could wreck all forward banks, deplete the torpedoes and slow the impulse down. if anyone has any other hp ideas let me know, or write them and send them to me, ill credit all. (even the ideas)

bcfiles' email upload server sometimes takes a few days to respond.  dont resend it though..i made that mistake.  also one of the BCFiles moderators may see it on here and upload it themselves...thats what happened with my NX-01 Bridge retexture anyway.

my email itself is screwing up, saying the file is too large to send, so i keep getting a rebound email saying it wasnt sent. my email has always given me problems tho... i uploaded the ship to filefront, i dont know why i put it on fileplanet. so heres the FILEFRONT link, i hope its better.

hey great mod !!!! ure missing some damage on the right nacelle though, where the warbirds wing collided with the warp nacelle, also yea an hp would be great to go with this, phasers burned out, no photons and only a limitied number of quantums, oh and no warp as well weak sheilds too, but keep a high hull status, so we can get more real time damage and of course RAM! !!!!

Actually we (me and Erk) are working on pack which will contain such HPs and some retexstures

i hate to say it, but the nacelles cant have individual damage like that. they are mirrored so what is done to one is done to the other. i did try to put that damage on the saucer though, those are those large gashes. as Dr McCoy said, we are currently working on new hps for the ships so keep an eye out for that.

I think those holes a burning a bit right ?
Maybe it's possible to add glows to those holes only small weak glows so they look burning.
I think it's possible via the alpha Channel if I'm not wrong.
I experimient a bit to see if I can figure out how to add glows to them but I have no clue where to add those glows.

Yes you're right, you can add glows by altering Tga alpha channel, it's rather easy with TGA Tool. The newest version o damaged enterprise-e doesn't contain burning glows, but if you think that will look more realistic we can add them

I don't know if they burn in Nemesis, too.
Just leave it as it is you could do textured holes like the hole on the bridge to some of the bigger impact marks.

I've just watched Nemesis and Enterprise haven't got any burning holes until ramming scimitar i guess, here are updates of damage textures

It looks good; I think it's kind of goofy to have a damaged ship though, especially since it's going to be repaired as soon as possible in the shows or movies. :P

true, it would've been nicer if it was a separate ship with weaker hp, but im not that good, but this would be cool for cannon screenies or if you want to play as the scimitar. i was just wondering if this could be posted on BCFiles, its too big for me to email out, so if an admin can please post it i would be much obliged.

have you tried messing with the compression?
perhaps using .rar instead of .zip or maybe using an .exe?

i had it .rar format, and its not that big, 22,404 KB, it just wont send out, ive tried separating it into smaller parts and still nothing.

have you tried Gmail?  they have a better attachment limit.  also, double compressing it might help.
