Let's clear up one thing shall we? MLeo did that script, only the idea was mine. It is plugin-based (like all things FTech, I wanted it that way) so you can use it with every ship ingame if you want to

The only downside is that it doesn't seem to be working correctly with Galaxy Charts last time I checked.

So, you only need to credit MLeo for it, and that's it, no need for asking permission (this is so everybody knows). The Ashton was only the first ship to use that script. Now, 5 of my ships use it (one is unreleased, but won't be for long) and more will come. Questions about that script you can ask me or Mleo, we both know how it works.

I like your rendition of the JJPrise (how everybody seems to call that ship), nice work on the textures. I really like those buzzards

I just now need to fix up the JJPrise's readme and I should be good to go. I'm probably going to regret saying this but......who wants to beta test these ships?

While the Trek XI ships are being worked on, here is some other things I was working on.

Here's my last update for tonight. Now we can imagine more of the airship qualities since I added the saucer engines.Smile I have extended the shuttlebay landing strip for shuttles and small planes to land. I still have much more to add and I'm just making it all up as I go. So far, it's 51k polys and I'll be really lucky if this gets into BC successfully.

For the engines, imagine a bolt of energy running all the way through to the end.....it's some kind of opened-up turbine engine, kinda Frankenstein-ish, and dangerous. I guess the antennae on the bussard collectors are lightning rods.

Dont often comment on here, but i wanted to say that the steam/airship versions you doing are some of the most interesting designs iv seen on here.
Im interested to know how you was planning on texturing it? Going to go for a straight steam look or something more tradtional trek?

keep it up, looking forward to seeing how this turns out.

Unfortunately, Tobias will have to rebuild parts of his as well...including the dreaded secondary hull, which seems to have some kind of...cargo bay/possible weapons port??? Either way, I say release the one you've got now as a V1 Wiley.

And I do agree with uk_resistant that the steam Trek ship is pretty darn cool, and best of luck getting it to work ingame.
