Ok, not much updates lately due to another project I was working on (Tricorder Graphics for a Voyager Tricorder :D) I'm about to go to bed, but I would like to say that I'm working on getting the named ships on page 5 in game before I do more work on the textures.  no pictures, but that's because I haven't fixed the windows yet LOL.  I will when I have more time (there are a LOT of windows on the registry ID Thingy oy....)

Here are the specs for the original configuration Sovereign Class(pre-Nemesis Refit). I made the Unit Run more appropiate for the first few ships. The previous specs I put were for the Nemesis Refit Sovereign Class

First Contact Sovereign Details
-12 Type XII Phaser Arrays
-1 Quantum Torpedo Turret
-4 Photon Torpedo Tubes
-Regenerative Shields
-Ablative Armor
-Normal Cruise: 8
-Maximum Cruise: 9.9
-Maximum Rated: 9.99

Unit Run(more appropriate for an original configuration Sovereign Class)
USS Sovereign NCC-73811(or NX-73811; Whichever one you decide to use
USS Musashi NCC-73832
USS Republic NCC-73856
USS Enterprise NCC-1701-E
USS Davis NCC-73977
USS Atlanta NCC-74250
Calvin grows up to be Frazz. The logical continuation of this is, of course, that Frazz then grows up to be Edward Norton's character from Fight Club. And thus, all four of these characters are gods.Let's go one more step. Calvin grows up to be Jeremy, who grows up to be Frazz, who grows up to be "Tyler Durden," while Suzie grows up to be Haruhi Suzumiya; since Kyon becomes The Doctor, this leads to the inescapable conclusion that after the end of Fight Club, Calvin becomes Captain Jack.

*sighs* I will also be including the PSD ID_glow file.  The named ships on page five are my final ships to be included in the pack.  No offense to anyone, but do to my time restraint of two years, which by then I should have COMPLETED Community College, and finished the main textures, and on top of the fact I do have a life outside of BC, work bills whatnot, I cannot take request as to what ships SHOULD be in the pack.

USS Republic
USS Nimitz
USS Kyoto (not to overwrite any Intrepid class pack)
USS Enterprise
USS Sovereign
USS Vigilant
USS Columbia
Like CG's 2.0 will consist of.

I'm sorry for any inconvenience this causes, but you guys are welcome to make new packs as long as you credit my work as well as CG's :)

Idea. Make blank registries and people can make their own darn ship names.  :P

duh, I already HAVE a blank registry :P.  but it'd be much easier with a PSD file with the text that lines up ;)

I've not updated this in a while.  But there really isn't anything to update you on.  Life for me has gotten a bit boring lol.  I kinda have no motivation right now to do anything with this, as I've been trying to find myself and find answers to my lifes questions if you guys know what I mean.  I will get this baby back on the road soon :) and I mean really soon, as I'm starting to get those answers.  On a good note, I am motivated to create avatars as you guys can see :).  If anyone wants one, y'all can contact me.  But back on the subject, the last thing I've done with the model itself is I've started modeling more detail on the lower saucer section.  I'll be working more on that when I get the vigor to do so and then the Model will be complete.  I'll also be working on the Windows on the ID map.  Ligthen them up and using similar blending properties that Scotchy did with his Galaxy.  Then it's on to putting the windows on the top Saucer and then working more on the secondary hull.  Afterwards I plan on finishing the Nacelle textures and then work on the bottom saucer :)

Good luck with this, maybe a good First Contact Sovvie will motivate CG to finish his 2.0 sometime before the 24th century.

Lol... I resemble your remarks

I know the feeling, I wish I could do this kind of stuff full time.  Unfortunately, life usually has other plans.

If it ever gets too bad, I'll just release the completed parts and let you all fool with them.  Personally, I'm kinda glad I've waited this long, since it gave a chance for computers to catch up.  Now I can unleash the full 20k polygon fury without too many reservations. LOL (I'm still planning to rework the old one too a little, don't worry ;) )

Hehe, I don't know if it would handle my computers as they're still old, and I'm still poor :P lol.

Work has rebegan on this baby LOL.  So far I've added the Captain's Quarters Winders (yes winders, I'm southern US dadgummit!!!) but I'm worried about the meticulous accuracy of the portholes...where they're supposed to go and everything...and I pray I get it right LOL.

Pictures to come soon :).  LATERZ TATERZ!

Work has rebegan on this project.? I've been toying with the mapping on the Saucer a bit.? well my ID map that is.? I had problems with the spotlight on the bottom of the saucer, so I just moved the set of portholes and now I'm working on the ID texture a bit so that I can fit the registries and so that it'll fit in with the map.? Pictures to come shortly :)

EDIT: OH I forgot to tell you guys...there is a side project when I'm sick and tired of working on this *angel*.? I'm working on putting phaser banks on a certain Steamrunner and retexturing her :).? Reddragon's since all I have to do is give credit ;).? If anyone can give me any decent reference pictures PM me or email me ;).? I may end up giving her an ID map too :S

EDIT:  I said my new map, because I'm changing the original CG Sovereign ID map a bit to include spotlights on the inside of the nacelles.

Well I'm having a bit of trouble mapping, so I'm gonna have to change the ID textures again lol.  But not that much :), just the area on the bottom saucer where the registry is supposed to be :).  I haven't had much time to work on this because I'm looking for a job again...Didn't like being a car salesman :P.

Well, it's temporarily on hold for the moment till I can get an electrician in the house to fix both my living room and computer room so that i can have my PC back LOL.  That won't be long, but I think I've fixed the problem with the spotlights etc.  I'm now working on adding new portholes to the ID texture, and will continue to work on the model a bit adding a few things but not upping the polycount too much.  This has been a fun experience...but I've also been going back and forth with both this and my Steamrunner retexture (Red Dragon's, I plan on modeling phasers on her and putting an ID Map on her though that may take a bit of time LOL) Anyways, When I get back on the main PC I'll have photos available :D.

Wells...I am temporarily back on the PC thanks to a quick transfer of auxilary power from the kitchen (I used a 50 food extension chord and just ran it around to the computer room, and plugged the puter in :D.  LOL thank heavens for those multioutlet thingies too...)

So when full power is restored, I plan on getting this sunofagun back into action fully :).  And I maybe a pharmacy technician soon...:D

In the meantime, I want you to enjoy the pictures I have of the Steamrunner ;).  I haven't gotten the body and nacelle pylons a texture yet, but the entire hull will be in the same color code as the hull of CG's Sovereign...

I'll have pics of the FC Sovereign up tomorrow...gotta go out now :D
