Hey, some of us here like Enterprise.  Sure, it's first two seasons have issues, but that's also true of TNG (pompous characters in TOS rehash 20 years too late), DS9 (Deep Sleep Nine), and Voyager (Kazon).  None of them really start getting consistently good until season three.

why do you think there's a Trope named "grow the Beard"?  TNG effectively created the idea when Jhonathon Frakes came back to start on season two with it.  it marked the point where TNG finally started improving.  though, I think with DS9 it's both Grow The Beard AND shave the head!

I haven’t watched any episode of Enterprise since the first time it aired, to be honest I’m enjoying watching it again.  I absolutely hated this show when I first watched it, but I’ll admit It’s not nearly as bad as I recall, it’s definitely more like TNG, DS9 and Voyager than Discovery is that’s for sure.

Enterprise followed the same "first two seasons suck" rule that TNG, DS9, and Voyager did.  Season three, and especially season four, were quite good.

To be honest, I think Enterprise is a better show than Voyager - at least Enterprise actually embraced it's prequel premise and had some serialization, vs. Voyager which was a TNG-retread with few consequences explored of being trapped 70,000 light-years from home.  If it had gotten seven years instead of four, and kept building on the momentium it had in late season three and most of season four, it would be on the same quality playing field as TNG and DS9.
