Ok started to try and teach McKinneyc how to model and wanted to start him off with the same first model i ever did that i was happy with, BUT alas his computer just couldn't keep up

but he wanted to watch how i built it so i have continued, and here i show off my first part of my Romulan Bird Of Prey build.

It's good to have another Romulan BOP. I wonder how long it has been since we last saw a Romulan BOP (or Vas Hatham-class or V8-class how she's non-canonically called) for Bridge Commander.

Ok done the Nacelles, (thinking of redoing them at this time) added the Aft trop and the Pylons *wings*,

at present she is made up of 3 parts, *When finished she will remain at 2 parts due to animation* the 3 parts are as follows

BOP HULL - Includes all shuttle bays, Cargo Bays, Fwd and Aft Weapon Pods main hull and Wings,
Nacelle
Bussard

Poly count wise she is sitting most comfortably at 2732 Polys So, with such a low count, i want to hit 10k at most and add the sensor pods and possibly windows to boot

ok thank you to everyone for the kind words, really means a lot to me. i know this is like the 3rd time i've built this ship, but neither of the first two releases made to to bc, and personally, THANK GOD. this kicks their ass's. im also including a lot more detail. i've decide to actually model the sensor nodes in, and here is the start of that.

tomorrow i will finish off the weapons pod, and rebuild the Nacelles. then it'll be onto the worst part, adding the sensor nodes to the bridge section

OH NO!! lol - P.S I am well aware i am missing 2 fwd nodes but they will be added later, going to make them and place them later

Good work so far! The saucer rim looks like it could use some additional polies, it's currently looking a bit segmented.
