"Treat it with respect"?  In order to make it interesting to the current generation and avoid becoming a total flop, it needs to start with a flash, bang, shock and awe, just like JJ-Trek.

Theres something else Id like to see in this series if it ever comes to pass. Ron Jones. The composer for not just the music of Family Guy but also composer of several TNG Episodes, among them "The Best Of Both Worlds," which is my personal favorite score of the series. Id like to see him return to Trek. :)
