You know, of all the ships ever to be created canon or non-canon for Trek, the only one that I have ever wanted to actually be real is the original shuttlecraft.

Don't get me wrong, I love all the ships but there's something about the shuttlecraft that captured my imagination as a kid that made me think, "hey, maybe something like that could really be made someday". It was the thought of a small spacecraft that I could take up to the stars and explore on my own... or with a few choice friends.

Ahh, if only....
