Also the fact that Kirk didn't order the shields up until Spock told him that the Reliant was locking phasers. If the shields had gone up immediately as per Starfleet Regulations...the Reliant wouldn't have had such an advantage so early on.

the Mranda was armed with the megaphasers, which is why it was able to pierce the hall so quickly,

sorry sorry..I always thought the refit enterprise was blue with some green mixed in here and there..and that the Enterprise-A was the opposite....predominiantly green with some blue mixed in

they were neither.  It was just the way the light from the various suns that were nearby were reflecting off of the GREY hulls.  Every ship in the starfleet line (Except for the pre-refit constitution class) was Grey up until the time when the Soveriegn and Akira Classes came out.  All refit constitutions fall into that category.  Any time when they looked to have a tint of a certain color to them, it was the ambient lighting in the solar system they were in which caused it to look that way.

Ello everyone I'm back (watches everyone run away) after a hiatus due to RL i am back on my project. i am currently working on the secondary hull textures if by chance if someone has a few images of the ST VI enterprise-a I could use them so i can do this right the first time. Also i am in need of some help with the saucer texture maps they are too dark and my Corel only seems to be whitening up the outer areas of the saucer. Anyone wanting to take a crack at these 2048 maps drop me an PM.
   
Due to several scripts that are still being worked out for TMP purposes and i will release the Dom War variant when she is finished since she doesnt require additional scripting. Bones has graciously sent me a HP that i am modifying for use in KM1.0 but i need to get some opinions on what kind of systems she would have for example should i add ablative armor, quantum torpedoes also how many she can fire at one time per tube and other things. Please post your thoughts on this all feedback will be taken into consideration.

Lastly the Dom War connie regs will be custom in memory of my father NCC-62348  USS William Alan

How high res are the textures? Has the light mapping been improved? The problem with Dr_McCoys Connie pack (seen on the Enterprise) was that some textures were low res resulting in jagged edges on textures. Light mapping was improved on the saucer, but to be honest, not by much. Same as the reg lights on the nacelles. Actually, the nacelle reg lights dont look like they were even touched upon when compared to the original Khaliban model.

Im sorry if you dont like my review Dr_McCoy, but I am just stating my honest opinion. Afterall, people and entitled to different opinions.
Can't wait for 2014 to start.

That's true, this is constructive criticism, could You point those low res sections so I'll know what to improve
The lightmaping on this model especially on nacelles is weird cuz You have to fit light to small square which is pain in a$$

and now for an update Unfortunatly this project will be on hold while i recover from injuries sustained from a major car accident broken right arm and a slight concussion when my belt broke slammed head first into the windshield. i am just now able to type again but it hurts like hell after a short time. Anyone who would be interested in helping me out with this let me know i still need a few things done, lightmaps and nacelle glows

well though i am still somewhat out of it after that rollover crash i was in i managed to do some work on the textures and these results look very promising. I have been able to successfully lighten up and adjust the contrast on several of the texture files and well judge for yourself. This will reflect a refitted connie in the Dom War. My thoughts are that they would have completly overhauled her with better hull plating if u can notice the aztec is still there but more subtle

Ask and ye shall receive. Ive went back and redone a few things the greens were too dark so i lighten them up and redone the flush vents so they should be their proper color now. As for the aztec FW is teaching me how to do it so hopefully ill be able to start working on that soon. But for now heres the updates
