Whoa.. I think I designed that ship about 5 years ago.  Well, sort of.  Very similar, but I had the warp pylons mounted higher, around a large weapons pod.  I'd always planned on calling it the Katana class, I think that would work nicely (unless someone's used it.. I've been kinda out of the loop).

Edit: Found one of my old drawings, k, so it's not that similar.  I later redid the nacelles, and swept them back.  I like your layout better though, much cleaner design.

Your ship is plenty good too. I hope someone (or you) gets around to making it soon.

Hey Dj, have you thought about placing 2 vivace nacelles together at the point you currently have your pylon attached to and standing it up on edge or 45 degree? (basicly you have a single nacelle.) I don't know what ship you could use such a thing on but it'd be wild to see. Certainly I'm not suggesting it here...
I just realised something. I've released over 300 fully modded ships for bridge commander. Bow to your master :D

This whole cookie thing is starting to sound intensely homo-erotic. DJ, you're designs are so good, I'm just gonna lick it, stick it, and have your man babies.

But if you like, we'll call it cookies.

The future of Starfleet..........DJ's ships.  In some aspects, this looks like the Enterprise-J.  Hmm, I wonder if he is up to it?  Looking good.

Doing the Enterprise J?  No, I wouldn't do that mod, I really don't like that ship.

For some odd reason the old style aztec patterns look great on this ship :D.  Loving every moment of this DJ can't wait to see more :D

Nice work DJ, and as has been said before, it reminds me somewhat of Queball's mothballed Repulse.  I can't wait to see your's hitting the black.

Excellent work as always, I think the name Raptor suits it perfectly!  Styling definitely makse it look fast, more like an interceptor ship.   :assimilate

The ship is actually quite big.  I've put it up against my Galaxy Class to compare window and bridge sizes, and the ship is at least 400 meters long and 25 decks tall.

heh, have a look at this sweet registry.

Awesome, well done DJ.

Seems rather large for a ship like that, though. I always imagined her to be a bit smaller, like equal or lesser than the Akira. Still, that's pretty cool. What'll her role be, do you think?
