Excellent DJ.

I think you are a rare one in the fact that every ship that I think you've ever released is very distinctly "Star Trek".

IMO, any of your ships (except perhaps the Libertas... which is awesome, but somewhat "out-of-box") could be considered canon and shown in an episode of TNG, DS9, or Voyager in a heart beat.

Altho I have absolutely no idea how you'd go on with doing it in 3DSMax, I'd say add some panel line dirt like I do on my ones.

lots of detailing still to go.

Aeries--> Not entirely sure yet, but I'll come up with something decisive.

no doubt. :3
From the size of the windows though, I'd say slightly smaller than the century; akira is to galaxy as raptor is to century? ;) just a thought. Keep up the good work man!

I feel like doing some custom tech for this ship.
DJ, if you have an idea, I'll see if I can do it. I'll even change stuff in FoundationTech for it.

Just no promises on time.
I still can't read peoples minds, nor can I read peoples computers, even worse, I can't combine the two to read what is going wrong with your BC install...

I personally think that the warp engines should be a lot longer so they stick out backwards more. I feel that it looks a bit squished but great work DJ! You continue to impress us!

I like the warp engines lol, cause if you go into a starbase and wanna maneuver around or something you might end up knocking a nacelle off :P

I'm offering you to offer me an idea. ;)
This has no hurry. I can even do it after you have released it.

I just get the "vibe" that this ship ought to have something very unique.

I was going to say: "Um, how about no?" :P

Oh wait, I did!

Perhaps I need to redo some experiments (as in, it's been quite a while, maybe I think of something new in my blank state)...

[EDIT] Things are, perhaps unfortunatly, coming back, and I realised again that I can't control the phaser hit events. :(

Skin shields are nub :P Whatever you do do it so other ships can use them ;) (like with the nacelle warmup you did for me).

Some work done on the drive section.  Any suggestions on the whole thing thus far?

Needs more cowbell. Not really, but are the lights going to be turned on, all of the windows are dark. As for your custom tech, I have a suggestion. We already have targetable plasma streams that explode when fired upon, and this ships' ram scoops (or bussard collectors) are pretty prominent. How about a tech that "absorbs" (really just a timer) explosive/flamable material and then, after a certain percentage is filled, you can release said material (like the plasma stream) and enemies may fire on it, causing damaging explosions. The timer could go increase faster based on the type of nebula you are in (I'm assuming that you can read whether you are in a nebula or not and whether or not it damages the ship.)

Likeliest reason is because he hasnt started the illumination bit of texturing yet (alpha/glows).

As for the ship, it's looking most impressive. I'd say it's a worthy contender for the next MOTM :P

Window's look kind of small for the overall shape of the ship.  The design makes it appear to be a Medium or Heavy cruiser, but with the window's that size it looks like more like a battleship size ship to me.  It could just be me though.

I'd say the window size is okay... perhaps this ship is in the 450-600 meter range, like the Ambassador Class. And the Amby was not a Battleship.
