Those pix look good, though, given the size of the ship, you might want to remove some of the windows, it seems like they go on too continuously.

Just to illustrate what I mean

This is what you've got for those windows...

l l l l l l l l l l l l l l l l l l l l l l l l

I'd suggest...

l   l l     l l   l     l l   l      l  l l

Just a suggestion.

Looking at the windows i tend to agree with our resident DJ/ship builder the windows are too cluttered together and they do look a little crooked other than that shes gonna be a sight to behold once shes done. Off topic: I think its going to be between Asylum and Russell for modder of the month for November

Maybe I will lessen the number of windows - they are randomly spaced (look closely) - I put a lot of windows so that I would not have to draw so much annoying aztecing LOL.

Hope to have much more for you all tommorow.

I think DJ means "even more spaced".
even the Galaxy windows were irregular in the saucer, except around Ten Forward, but that's because it was a big room.

and as for the aztecing, it's supposed to be a background. do a big aztecing and then cut the holes for the windows, not at the inverse.

Nice work on the Luna Class, CR.

I thought you became one with FarCry modding, lol. Nice to see you back. :)

Anotehr little update; I've started the intimidating task of texturing the top of the saucer section - I think that the aztecing on the saucer top may be too faint - what do you all think?

I can see it pretty clearly.  I think it looks good if it's faint, just with a strong specular to pick it up.

Yeah it's there believe me, but I think it could either use a higher-contrast specular or maybe be darkened with the contrast increased, which I will definitely do.

This is looking better and better each time I see it.  Speculars should help this ship out.  Good work. :D

hey CR...can't wait for the Luna...but I have a different question. I wanna port your borg ships to armada..and I know you said i could do what I want as long as credit is given...I have ported the Cube and sphere..and i used the texture to retexture the Transwarp Portal...But I need the ms3d for the Tactical Cube..as when i try to import the nif..it says too many chunks in nif. Do you have the original?

Yeah you only need to PM me about that; I'll try to get you and some other guy those MS3Ds of the Borg ships - I sure hope that I can still find my Tactical Cube MS3D LOL.

This is looking great CR.  Wish I had the modeling abilities that you have :).

Nice work. This is going to be one of the mods I'll download when it comes out.
Calvin grows up to be Frazz. The logical continuation of this is, of course, that Frazz then grows up to be Edward Norton's character from Fight Club. And thus, all four of these characters are gods.Let's go one more step. Calvin grows up to be Jeremy, who grows up to be Frazz, who grows up to be "Tyler Durden," while Suzie grows up to be Haruhi Suzumiya; since Kyon becomes The Doctor, this leads to the inescapable conclusion that after the end of Fight Club, Calvin becomes Captain Jack.

The windows on the saucer look a little too squarish to me.  I know the diagram with the latest Titan paperback suggests this, but that's a bit inconsistant with other Federation designs.  Otherwise, this model looks great!

While I'm glad that someone is finally tackling the Titan, a few things seem off...maybe these views of a 3d model of the Titan(the model itself is probably far too poly-heavy for BC) will help.

Luna Class, huh? Looks a great deal like my Mithra Class, though my Mithra was obviously conceived after this. Maybe I'll make it a part of the Luna's future design lineage? Hmm... Anyways, I love this. A strong specular would be totally awesome, and would compliment her beautifully. :D She's a gorgeous ship, you ought to be proud.
