If by the hanger your refering to mine it will be release by the end of the weekend for download.

Just have to add the shuttle control room and so issue with the fantail door to resolve

The door wouldn't be a problem as you'd only see it externally, but man, you could be responsible for some amazing beauty shots with that kind of feat. I'll contact you when the shuttle model is complete if you'd like to play with it/go over it. I wouldn't mind an early opinion on the model itself.

...Probably not, but the number I get(379.6m) could be considered ?original intent,? a term that I think I will be using from now on, and ?canon? be damned.

Would love to give you my view of your shuttle when your ready and also with your permission release a V2.1 version of the hanger with your shuttle included with full credit of course.

I'd also (with your permission of course) like to see if I can transplant the interior I started from my aborted shuttle into your model. Or just finish the interior for a bridge to go with your shuttle.
Whatever knocks us back, can only make us stronger.

Mate, you've got my blessing! :D But I can't give you textures to go with it, haven't/don't have the time to pick up that as well (I promise guys, I'll stop saying that now). You were building a shuttle interior? That could be applied to BC, you know...   ;)

Well as far as the interior got was cloning my bridge seats and the helm inside my shuttle's hull but it was a start.

Cheers, I lack the imagination to come up with my own ideas, lol. I did a few renders of the new model, I am aware of the smoothing issue, don't worry. All I need to add in to this model is a little more of the equipment on the top, the door on the left side and the rear ornamental bits, then the Sled can be completed (It's currently got the basic shape, and that's all.)

C&C Are welcome and encouraged.

Haha, ahhh, she ain't that good, canon maybe, but not that pretty, there's a lot I could do to make a v2... I may do that once I've gotten the Voyager Concept started/finished.

Laguardia, all it takes is practise. I'm still learning, but with the things I'm learning with this model will go towards the Voyager Concept, which I still need a class name and name for. I've also started rebuilding the Prime, and she doesn't look anything like her old self. If anybody wants to have a go at texturing the shuttle/warp sled, please let me know soon. If not, I'll release the models for public texturing.

Haha, cheers Aeries, though I can assure she won't have 5 different versions. ;) At most I've got just the one revision I'll do when I've gotten better at modelling. After all, the model itself has only taken a matter of hours, just spread out over a long period. If I sat down for one Saturday (Sober) I'd be able to produce the whole thing again and upload it by the night.

A TNG one is a possibility, but I've got 2 other projects to do work on before I consider another version of this after a v2 (The Voyager Concept and the Sydney Class). That and I'm going to try doing a bridge/control room set to fit in with the upcoming DS9FX Xtended. ;) Then there's the Gundam model that I want to experiment with in BC... Speaking of Star Trek, Generations is on Scifi now! Time for a 2 hour break! :D

:v: Texture's may be a problem, as I don't have time to pick up another profession (Already learning Python, modelling, and animation). Hence my constant advertisements for others who have the time/chance/will to texture her for me. I personally was thinking a weathered look, it'd fit better with the TNG era ships.

I have a quick question, regarding the next WIP (I'm starting it tonight, so I'd choose efficiency over error) When building triangular saucer sections, what's the best way to go about it? set the point up at the front and then Extrude it out in sections?

I think everyone's got their own method. I, myself, set up a spline outline, created a poly with it, and extruded upwards. I suppose it really depends... :/

Basically what I do with backdrops, so I guess I'm not so far off anyway. Cheers mate. Expect rage on MSN. ;)
