Does anyone know if there is a utility that converts a gmax file to nif?

Thanks!

*Moved to BCModding
Since it's not a question relating to a problem with BC.

As for your question, I don't believe there are any plugins except those that are signed by MAX, which there aren't many.
I still can't read peoples minds, nor can I read peoples computers, even worse, I can't combine the two to read what is going wrong with your BC install...

A website called Niftools has the relevant plugins for gmax 1.2 and can be here:-

http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=149157&package_id=195073

I recommend reading the release notes on how to install the plugins in gmax.

Thanks for the info Glenn!

I'll check out the Niftools site.
