OOoooh, this has my interest.
"To live on as we have is to leave behind joy, and love, and companionship, because we know it to be transitory, of the moment. We know it will turn to ash. Only those whose lives are brief can imagine that love is eternal. You should embrace that remarkable illusion. It may be the greatest gift your race has ever received."

Well since the old ship was no good for exporting or scripting I've decided to give it another go.

I will attempt to do as much a I can with this one myself.

Note the saucer and engines are from the old ship and will be replaced on the new one. Basicly the un-textured bits are the new ones.

The bussard collectors look a little flat.  They should be round like a ball  The extra details like the bridge, impulse engines, and the under saucer sensor are either too small or too big.

The nacelles are closer in than the true TOS Enterprise, but not that close.  Also, I think the nacelles should be fully cylindrical, not squaring off at the ends.

I like it so far. :D You might need to work on the impulse engine and the bridge a little more.  It's looking like something that I built.......maybe it's the lighting setup.

Somebody's got to release this ship ASAP, whether it be Wiley or Baz.
I've got a model done by MadMan1701a, however it's a blender file and no one is willing to port it to either Legacy or Bridge Commander.

asap = when it's done
Also, what does your post have to do with either of their projects? If you want it ported, make a new thread, don't hijack others'.

Well to be honest I modeled the bridge after yours since it is the best ref I've seen of the ship.

looks good!  only thing is that from the side, nacelles look alittle huge at first glance.  I look again, and I see something maybe alittle too big, but on the other hand, its reasonable.  wierd optical effect.  same thing with the distance between nacelles from the top view.  looks too small first, then after a second glance, it's grown on me.

You're getting better at modeling the difficult parts.  The nacelles are still too close together.

Awwww, no shuttlebay...? :cry:

I know the shape of it doesn't seem like there is one, but there are shuttles with the registry 1701 on them, so there has to be one.
