The lightning bands on the large fins should be smaller and divided vertically into 3 sections and not connect with the other lightning strips on the other fins.  You can confirm with the screenshots.  Also, maybe add a little bit of blue to the "lightning" so it has a green/teal look.

The mid section still needs the "bridge" build over it yet as with other surface details.

The new mesh holds up well, not specs or glows yet.

As can be seen the dry dock show that vger is the wrong scale. I have already fixed this

Of all the things I never thought I'd see in BC, this was near the top, this and the Narada.  Between you and Wiley, we're getting some of the oddities of the ST universe.  Good job, eat a cookie. :D

Now all we need is for someone to replace the Cardie station being used as V'ger on the actual map. ;)

It could hold a crew of tens of thousands.  Or a crew of a thousand ten miles tall.

Tens of thousands? Hell, this thing has the forward footprint of a large city. and it's about 8 times longer than it is wide. Try hundreds of millions!

a couple of sudgestions? :D

looking from the end, you have V'Ger in roughly the shape of the 1st picture...

i have noticed that the "valleys" between the fins running along the ship are too deep compared to the ship in the movie and they shuld look more shallow like in picture 2. (but still with nice curved angles)

one more sudgestion.

the valleys in between the large spikes shouldnt be raised like you have them currently, they are level with the valleys running along the length of the ship.
you can notice this when V'Ger fires it's large plasma torpedoes at Earth in the Directors edition of the movie

You could also attach a nebula to the Model so that it follows the ship wherever it goes
