[WIP] star trek ships

i have begin to do a ships (only a begining so can change a lot)

when this ships is finished it will be in my star trek mods i do for freelancer but i will make a BC version of this ships if ppl want it. (i'm not a pro at making star trek ships as you can see i need lot of years to become better to make a great star trek ships like some ppl here)

oh and by the way i need lot of star trek models (i already have all stock ships / starbase from SFC3 / star trek armada 2 and bridge commander) cause the universe i build for my mods of freelancer is very big so i have lot of Romulan / klingon / federation / cardassian / borg / and species 8472 but i really need lot of vulcan / ferengi / dominion / kazon  (i make some new ships for making new species to discover and become ally or ennemy XD)

i have look at BIG permission thread and woah i will make overdose of mail sending lol

Well, it's very unique, that's for sure.

But... May I ask why you chose Freelancer? Hardly seems the usual choice for a franchise that revolves around cruisers and such rather than fighters.

in freelancer you can make a server and all player come on your server keep all stuff that they have after they disconnect its a sort of MMO

in freelancer you can make new faction (like borg / vulcan / etc....) and you can become ennemy or ally or neutral if you do some mission or for example you are ennemy with vulcan and you want dock in vulcan shipyards but because your reput with vulcan is not good you can't so you can make some mission for the ally of the vulcan or you can fight the ennemy of the vulcan and vulcan become to appreciate you)

you can dock on planets with small ships and on shipyards for bigger (and smaller too) and on planets you can repair your ships , take mission , buy new weapons , armor ,ammo , or buy a new ships.

in the begining of the mods i make that you will be able to choose a faction (if you choose borg all other will be ennemy so they will see you and you will see them in red as ennemy)

i have begin to change the refire rate to be like in legacy (use energy for torpedo and phaser) and so the battle will be more near star trek than the freelancer fighter

i have discover that i can put hardpoints and block in some angle so that mean u can have weapon that can only fire in back and not in front and vice versa.

you can make trade from a planet to an other planet to get money(will be changed to a sort of reputation points cause have no money in star trek)

in BC if you make a server and player join he can choose ships and when he DC he lose the ships and he can choose an other

in freelancer all weapon and stuff you buy are keep on server DB.

that's why i choose freelancer (i have past lot of time with friends in bridge commander too with kobayashi maru mods ^^)

There are numerous space games that support what you're after. Still, I've played the Fed Ship Packs released quite some time ago and despite the models on it being uncannon it was still kind of ffun (Until a Galaxy Class was able to dock at Pittsburgh.

another ships i do in 3DS max i was playing with torus and i got idea to make a "Donuts Borg" lol

so this ship is not from today is from some weeks already and already put ingame (freelancer)

i will port it to bridge commander as soon as i can
