Baz, you really outdid yourself. Everything looks fantastic. Esp since now you updated the textures to reflect the lineage. It's beautiful. I love the dark blue hues. It really makes the ships stand out. Thanks!!!!

Wow, these pictures shows how much you've improved in texturing :O really, color palette used on Ambassador is just perfect (perfect balance between color harmony and contrasting panels and that clean fed hull look we're used to, that is something I never really achieved so kudos mate !) with your unique touch like nacelles it's just plain awesome, I can imagine how your Proberts Ambassador would look like with similiar texturing (especially windows and hull panelling)

Were the placement of the nacelles lowered or is it just the photo.

Very excited about the refits.

Here is the same model in both Ent-C and refit configurations. The Naclles were capped and lowered and the saucer was shifted back elminating the step at the back of the dorsal. Other minor changes were the underside of the fantail and additons to the deflector dish.

I believe the nacelles were lowered due to a problem with the model.

Here are some shots, if you don't have them already: http://flare.solareclipse.net/cgi2/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=print_topic;f=6;t=002802

I prefer the lower nacelles, the normal config had them too high. Excellent work with this Baz. It amazes me how you do such a great job for a low poly mesh.

Ah, very interesting indeed. I've never noticed the lowering of the nacelles. Deflector, extra shuttle bay and buzzard caps were very noticeable but this escaped me. Thanks for the info, always cool to learn new things. I agree in that it does look better lowered than high up as it was originally. Such an elegant design, very aesthically pleasing even more than the Galaxy Class. (Off topic) Although I found the bridge a little cramped. Compared to the Excelsior. Smh. Ehh production budgets always ruin everything. Lol.

Any who, I'm glad you really focused on such detail. Excellently executed.
Your color hues remind me of FOAS TMP Texture refits of WZ45s TMP ships. This will go excellently with the Lexington CMD Cruiser and the others. Can't wait to see her fly.

Oh forgot to mention; I noticed you didn't put the mustard colored portion of the grill btwn the buzzard collectors and the warp grill. Intentional or not finished yet.

Just discovered the nacelles were lowered after the model was retired ready for an appearance it never made in Generations so as far as I care the nacelles are going back up.

Very nice! Love the textures!

For the battle damaged C are you going for filming model accuracy or are you going to give the damage some dimension too? Would be a nice way I think to separate yours from the rest. Maybe even balls-to-the-wall like the Kelvin or Enterprise in STID? Either way I know it will look awesome!
All hail the messiah!
