Starforce Productions will be hopefully getting some hp'd ships done. I basicly have 2 weeks and no finished ships at this time so I dunno what or how many. Somehow I'll get something done.
I just realised something. I've released over 300 fully modded ships for bridge commander. Bow to your master :D

I will try and shoot you the specs you need on the C-9 and C-9A remake if you want to have those ready by Xmas.

go for it. I'm hoping to have time for those 2. My goal today is 2 get 4 ships I've started packed and 2 more I haven't done, more if possible.

Also guys it should be noted that if you want us to release this many ships on christmas we need to start ahead of time, and you need to have your own screenscaps set up.

In other words, each author should make a folder named to match their ship(s), one folder for each ofcourse, fill it with the desired pix, then rar the whole batch up in one rar file and send it over. If possible, if you can get them to us a few days ahead of time we can set the timer to auto release on christmas. To try and post that many on the morning of itself will take hrs and most people have family plans in the afternoons. The last time I released 30 ships it took 4 hrs to post them all properly. Plus I will likely be busy with my own ship efforts untill christmas eve, there is even the possiblility of me hardpointing christmas morning to finish a straggler so the less we gotta do at the last minute the better.

If you are worried about leaks you can send them directly to myself and/or blackrook. I would suggest finished product start comming in by the 19th.

Thanks for the post Starforce.  So to everyone, let's try to have our ships rolling in as soon as possible in the manner requested by starforce, and perhaps we should set a cutoff date of December 23rd?

So just to get this little bit of confusion with me sorted, the rar we send to BCF should look something like this?:

Christmas Day Mods.rar   ---> Mod x (folder)        ---> data, scripts, sfx folder and files etc.
Mod x Pics (folder)  ---> Pictures of Mod x

---> Mod y  (folder)       ---> data, scripts sfx folder and files etc.
Mod y Pics (folder)  ---> Pictures of Mod y

That is how I've interpreted the instructions given by Starforce.
"To live on as we have is to leave behind joy, and love, and companionship, because we know it to be transitory, of the moment. We know it will turn to ash. Only those whose lives are brief can imagine that love is eternal. You should embrace that remarkable illusion. It may be the greatest gift your race has ever received."

Dalek: Dont forget to add in a breaf write up in with the pic's.

To save you guys some work, my team mod will be uploaded by ourselves. We can set the timer to auto release on christmas. Or do we have to summit them in to you to be part of this christmass releace?

that reminds me, doesn't BCFiles now allow you to upload and post your own files on a timer?

Mod y Pics (folder)  ---> Pictures of Mod y

That is how I've interpreted the instructions given by Starforce.

Do not include the pix *IN* your mods rar file. If you submit ship x, ship y, and ship z, then you should make a separate rar file (one rar) with folders labled X, Y, and Z and filled with the corresponding pix, directly to a staff member, preferably myself or blackrook, so when we start posting your files we have pix to upload.

If you use the user submit system rather than email or IM:
Make sure (christmas release) is in the mod title. We'll remove it when we approve the file and set the timer so it doesn't look silly once posted, but not everyone may be holding releases till christmas so we need a way to tell which should be held and which shouldn't. If you don't MARK IT and it gets posted right away instead, it's *your fault*.

It should also allow you to submit your pix when you submit your mod. Also, do not use a word for word passage from your readme as a description. Filefront doesn't allow files to be posted like that beacuse it looks bad/lazy and we are supposed to try and avoid that. Make sure the description is a paragraph long description of what your mod is. You can include things like texture res, poly count, ship length, where it fits in the timeline, class, what it's armed with, ect. Easy to get a paragraph with that for any ship. It can be longer but lets not get carried away and write a ten page essay.

If for some reason you can't submit the pix, again, sort pix by ship, rar them all in one batch and give that directly to us.

Also, just a reminder, make sure credits and any permission issues are delt with ahead of time and each ship has a readme.
I just realised something. I've released over 300 fully modded ships for bridge commander. Bow to your master :D

DJ, edit the main post because is not sure about the planets. I still havent found a script which has the information about the textures, or maybe I should try to write new. I'll se what I can do. For now, the Yorktown refit is finished, the Guitarship was HPed but not tested, the NX refit HP is being scripted by deadthunder. So for these ones I will be done at the and of the week.

Dalek: Dont forget to add in a breaf write up in with the pic's.

I know, I've released mods. Hence the "etc" 's here:

Christmas Day Mods.rar   ---> Mod x (folder)        ---> data, scripts, sfx folder and files etc.

Do not include the pix *IN* your mods rar file. Ok, so more like this then:

Christmas Day Mods.rar   ---> Mod x (folder)        ---> data, scripts, sfx folder and files etc.

---> Mod y (folder)       ---> data, scripts sfx folder and files etc.

Chritmas Day Mod Pictures.rar ---> Mod x pictures ---> folder with relevant pictures
Mox y pictures ---> folder with relevant pictures

Like that? (sorry if I'm being picky, I just get very nervous when it comes to setting things up properly and I've got a school concert in about half an hour so I'm extra jumpy :P)
