even with shadows on it, the Excelsior A looks too bright blue.  I think it's supposed to be more of "ink" blue.

I'm in agreement with KCS. A darker blue would fit better.

The blue Is the correct color, shade and tone of the Excelsior class, any darker and the color will not look right on the hull.

Well, technically its not the correct colour since this is a purely fanmade idea. :P It just looks...out of place on the Sovie, so bright and blue. The Excelsior blue complimented the shape and other colours of the hull.

The color Is the same color that was used on many of the Excelsiors that are around, Yes the ship Itself Is a fan made Idea but the color I tried to keep as canon as possible.

Agreed, and even though you're trying to stay as canon as possible, who's to say that for the Sovereign Excelsior-A, the blue can't (or wasn't) changed to a more subdued shade?

I have tweaked the brightness of the textures, and removed a few sections of the blue as well.

You've got a bit of texture issue with your blue theme... image explains it & can easily be fixed in 2 seconds :)

Which they are :P

And that error Is from photoshop, I must have accidentally moved the layer before saving and closing the texture.

Sorry there hasn't been much of an update for a while now, everyone's been busy including myself. Being hooked to Mass Effect 2 and Civilization 5 doesn't help my situation any either lol

But in the mean time I thought I would do a couple press shots of the Sentinel, the nacelles haven't been worked on yet as far as I know so consider the ship a placeholder till they are done.

And I'm still thinking on a name for the pack, how does the Star Trek Invasion Pack sound? If not I can always change it lol.

Anyways here are the shots. More updates soon.
