Constellation Refit WIP...
« on: June 28, 2011, 06:38:09 AM »
I'm back with another refit project of another TMP ship, the Constellation Class.  Right now she stands at around 4900 polys, but there's much more work to be done, as you can see.

It has to be said right now though, this will not be a canon model.  I'm refitting this baby, so there are going to be changes here and there, but nothing major.

I hope that includes pulling some of those Hull Blisters.  what nacelles have you got in mind, something original?

I'm not going to pull them all, as I do want to have some visible deflector systems, which means they gotta be in those blisters as you said, but I will change them up a bit.  I'm going to make them tasteful.

As for warp engines, I'm not going to go with the TMP look, at least not completely.  I haven't started on them yet, just been going over in my head how I might want them to look.

TNG grades would not look right, that's for sure.  I just can't picture a TNG grade that would work with a consty.

We'll see.  You never know, things might just look very nice.  Lots more work to be done, that's for sure.

I was about to go that route originally, but I think I want to do something different.   Then again I might end up using them, not sure.
