Photoshop question
« on: January 20, 2012, 08:06:03 PM »
Hey guys I'm going though all my textures fixing things that went wrong etc, now i have a question is there a way to BULK edit or do i have to do each one individually - what i mean is once i have all my ship textures done i want to shrink them into 1024x1024 and 512x512 - so is there a way i can tell it to do that or do i have to do it 1 file at a damn time :(

Phoenix, there's this little thing called Google.  I one hundred percent guarantee that you'll find Ifranview with "I'm Feeling Lucky".

Here's the link.

I've used this for years and it works awesome for bulk edits.

It has a limit to the amount of images it can open at once, though.. annoys me sometimes when I take a bunch of screenies..

not just for bulk editing.  some of us have to convert formats as well, and irfan somehow has a work around JPEG artifacts!  also, it's a good way to check Alpha channels on TGA's.

I don't believe it supports alphas unfortunately... but don't quote me on that.

You can always save the alphas as separate black & white files and batch those... I thing that might work.
