Which mod was it that allowed this to happen again?

Sorry. I've been out of the "BC Loop" for a very long time.
And no, I'm not installing KM.

The "Skinning and Damaging Tool".
AFAIK it is included in most major mods, so you probably already have it-> look under scripts/custom/autoload for SDT.py

If you need to see how ID map swapping works, download one of my ship packs to see how it was scripted. You REALLY have to know where your textures are and how they are named.

It was your NX pack that prompted me to ask this in the first place.  :P
I had recently downloaded it, checked the readme, and noticed that one of the requirements was "ID Map Swapping".

Had a thought, but I couldn't remember the name of the mod that enabled ID map swapping, and I didn't want to install KM for it, so I thought I'd ask here instead.

Like I said, I've been away for a damn long time. I don't have the best memory. :P
