Title: Hardpointing help
Post by: Dalek on September 02, 2008, 09:44:24 AM
I need help with hardpointing.

For my X-Medusa, I want to be able to add:
Asgard Beams.
" "  " "  Pulses.
Borg Torpedoes.
Ancient Drones.
Slipstream Drive.
2 extra impulse engines.

Now Slipstream easy-peasy. The rest of it, not so easy. I've tried adding an Asgard Pulse, I think its working, I go in-game, I fire it and all I do is hear it.

Another thing: I want the Century quantums to become normal torpedoes but you have to cycle through them in-game. Same thing with the drones except make the drones the Photon torpedoes. Borg Torps are to be cyclable as well.

If this is a lot to ask for, then...um...I dunno!

So you hear the sound but there's no projectile? Wierd.

If you mean changing the torpedo type ingame between quantums, drones and borg torps, just open your ship in MPE and create a Torpedo system. Edit the property and set "ammo types used" to 3. Then click the first three ammo type boxes and set the torpedo scripts and max ammo in each of them.
