I have KM 1.0 installed and when i try to create a game online it refuses to show up online. It will instead show up as a LAN game even though i have selected create internet game. I tried running as a dedicated server and still the same issue. I have no problem joining other internet games, but cannot for the life of me get a internet game of my own up and running. My friends that are on my network can see the LAN (even though it was created as an internet) game and join it just fine. Anyone that can help I would be greatly appreciative. Thank you.

if you are behind a router you must open the ports BC uses to communicate to Gamespy and allow others to see the game.

Gamespy doesn't support BC anymore, but you should still be able to put a server up, I agree with neb, check your firewall, it's probably blocking it.

no and no....
Gamespy still runs the BC server.
firewall shouldn't be blocking it... it's the ports in the router than need to be opened.

Well it is my router, i tried it without the router and it worked fine. However i configured the router to let BC use the assigned ports that were in the readme file but still no luck, gonna keep tinkering with it, at least i know its not my software. Thanks for the input gentlemen.

You do have your PC set to a static IP don't you? If I recall correctly you need one to forward ports properly.
