Title: ST Legacy ODF file issue..
Post by: BES on December 23, 2009, 12:12:38 PM
Im playing a bunch of Star Trek games while I wait for ST Online..

If I remember correctly all I had to do in ST Legacy was go to: \Star Trek Legacy\odf\ships and modify an ODF file related to the ships specs ..and it should work if im playing in the single player campaign..

BUT NOTHING IS WORKING! ...modified the NX-01 like 8 times and still nothing happens... I remember I could make the ship have shields and extra weapons by just doing that..

Is it because I updated the game to version 1.04? ..

Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit ..and its running as admin ... this game worked fine on Vista 64bit but I never patched it..

The odd part about this is that the .ODF file remains modified ...but he modified settings wont work.. did they change something in the new patch? ...do I have to add a mods folder or override folder or something to get it to work?

Did you relocate/delete the db.pak file? Thats what you have to do to get any odf changes to show up.
