Title: Has anyone ever made ships like this for BC?
Post by: Legion on January 26, 2010, 01:50:49 PM
Hi, just going through some TMP ships and I was wondering if anyone has ever made any TMP ships for BC that feature either a cutaway primary hull (like this; http://www.jaynz.info/gallery.php?pid=230) or with an underslung navigational deflector (like this; http://www.jackill.com/Pages/MV-8_Sample_Page.htm)?

Not everyone's cup of tea I realise, but both 'features' add some variety among the ships of that era IMHO.

Thanks.

the Nova class, the NX, Vladko's proxima class and NX refit have both, Saladin scouts from TOS have a seperate hang-down deflector dish

Thanks guys, however that's not really what I meant unfortunately.

The Akula lacks the cutaway primary hull sections (as seen here; http://www.jaynz.info/gallery.php?pid=230) and the 'underslug navigation deflector' i meant wasn't like the old TOS one on a stick, it's intergated into the underside of the primary hull (better seen in this fan schematic here; http://trekbbs.com/showpost.php?p=3642785&postcount=247)

I've had a quick look through bcfiles but couldn't spot what i was after, I was just wondering if anyone else had come across anything?
