I've been playing Bridge Commander for a while now, and I found out that the best way to destroy the Kessok's ships is to target your weapons toward the bottom part of their ships.

oh come now... be nice fellas, he's new.
so welcome to the forums jameschatman86 :D
now for future reference the correct section for this thread is the bc general section.
have fun around here though.

nero and deadthunder - that was terribly rude and a very poor welcome to a new patron to bcc! makes us all look bad and i dont appreciate that!
you both were noobs also not all that long ago, you know...
welcome to the forums, jameschatman - please dont get the wrong impression of BCC from other members like that... please feel free to stay around and post any other strategies youve observed that may help others in the future :)
ill go ahead and move this thread to BC General...

Yeah, don't mind the regular trolls. They just want attention. Welcome on board.
-
Sorry about that, I didn't mean to be rude was just having some fun.
-
Welcome to the new guy. :)
-
Sorry, welcome
-
Lol, these two if anyone deserve the :newbie: smiley. :P
Welcome to the boards. ;)

welcome to the forums ;) usually the best way for me was to target sensor array so they were blind and then just get rid of 'em
-
What I used to do when facing Kessok ships, is to boost my shields to 125%, then put everything I had into destroying the Kessok repair system. Base Kessok ships used to have a insanely quick repair system. Doesn't seem to happen with modded Kessok ships for some reason. O_O
Anyway, once the repair system is destroyed, I then work on bringing down their sensors so that they would be blind. Finally, bring down their impulse engines so that they end up being a "sitting duck".
At this point, the shields are pretty much paper thin. Once that happens, its goodbye for the bridge section.

Welcome :D
do you know lol i dont fight kessok much... not since playing the single player game many years ago.. i tend to use KM1.0 or KM 2.0 beta and ds9 fx extended and bcs: in the begining. which give new ships and the galaxycharts mod... it allows many things like random encounters in quickbattle game.
any way... dont remember the best way i took down kessok but the sensor attack works well against klingons
again welcome
do you mod as well or are you just a gamer at the moment?
-
I basicly follow the same approuch as Billz.
Far easier to take down once the repair system is gone.
-
I may aswell add my technique.
I always increased Engines, Weapons and Shields to 125%, then flew right underneath them. From there I'd get them in a tractor beam, target there sensor array, Destroy it. Then leave that ship blindly flying around whilst i'd terget the next one.
Plus once there all blindly flying about you can take your time to destroy them and save Torpedoe amunition.
:D Works everytime for me.
-
i always target their wapr core. it has 2 advantages:
you can hit the core from both sides, ventral and dorsal
and you can easily destroy the repair system in one or two good attacks because its almost at the same spot as the warp core.
and, maybe, in a attack onto their forward shields you may damage their torpedo systems and sensors, which makes their beam weapons even more inaccurat. sometimes they even miss a galaxy directly in front of them with all 4 beams.
-
i might aswell add to this, whenever i fight the kessok, i put all power to 125%, destroy their sensors and shields without damaging enything else, the i fire 2 quantum torpedoes at their warp core and boom, i also get ganged up on so doing this to one ship makes the rest become sluggish and then i strike.

I just use a burst of 15 phase quantums with a super-rapid pulse fire and phasers. Lets just say they really dont have time to pull the trigger, cloaking device helps too.
