Title: A "Real" Traveling Sci-Fi Air Show!
Post by: 086gf on June 25, 2010, 08:53:57 PM
With full scale and fully interiored(SP?) fictional spacecraft that you can enter just like with any large plane/helicopter at a normal airshow. A former ILM visual effects artist thought this up and put it together with a bunch of other people ofcourse.

This is just so awesome!

Obviously the pictures of the ships in flight are fake(darn it! lol).

There were no full-scale mockups built of the craft made for the original movie, and the ones from the TV shows are probably still owned by Paramount.

I'm surprised there aren't any X-Wings, A-Wings or Y-Wings out there.  And where the frak is the Millenium Falcon?! :P

I think you mean MGM.

But you people are missing the point of this.

There WAS no air show. It's all clever photography and CGI. In some shots, it's fairly obvious. For fraks' sake, read the histories of the ships, it's clearly fictitious.
