Title: WC Connie HP Update
Post by: moed on August 05, 2010, 04:34:53 AM: I got permission from Wiley to release an HP update to his beautiful TOS Constitution.

I added 2 aft phasers & a photon torp launcher.

I also gave it a little bit more "teeth" to shields, hull, impulse, and a few other systems... after all, this is the 23rd centuries premiere Starfleet ship class.

I'm posting this to see if anyone is interested in this update and if I should actually release it.

also, when it comes to releasing something, always please do so no matter how slight you think the modification might be and whether or not anyone would be interested... released mods are always about sharing one's work in case anyone else would want to pick it up and to have it also; people may not suggest to release something or not to bother, but im sure people would download it after release... :)

Good point Jimmy.

I'll release the update in a week or so as I'm leaving on vacation today for a family reunion.

Post by: moed on August 06, 2010, 09:34:33 PM: FYI, I left the weapons placement for the forward phasers/torps the same as the original HP. But, I think you'll find the placement I put for the aft phasers/torps interesting. I have a reason for it and feel it's logical.

Thank You Nihilus! As an Enterpise fan it's actually nice to see someone give a quasi nod to the canon status of that series. That being said the last TOS Connie I can remember with rear firing weapons was WZs Defiants from Enterpise so looking forward to how this one works out!
