Title: Sovereign001 TNG Shielding
Post by: sovereign001 on August 11, 2010, 01:02:13 PM
After watching The Next Generation, it's clearly that the federation shielding is different than the one in DS9 and Voyager.

So i started making, creating, new sphere.tga's. A nice bubble like the tng deflector shield was the plan ;)

Here is a picture of it ingame and one of the show.
The weapon that was fired, was pointed on the aft section. If only fired on the engineering section, the effect of the bubble will be much bigger.
Disruptor fire will even increase it or cutting beams.
Release shall be soon!

Please enjoy, and leave comments!

just out of curiosity, why is the shield glow yellow?  isnt that race defined?  isnt fed shield glow blue?
shame BC cant be modified in such a way where the shield glow color reflects the color of the weapon hitting it (like in the 2nd pic at the top with the borg tractor beam)...
