Definitely gonna pick this up. Although It does seem a bit arcadey, hopefully it'll be a lot of fun.

Seems like yet another H.A.W.X. to me... while I don't really like hardcore sims like Il-2 or Lock-on I really liked F-22, F-16 series (Novalogics) they seem to be the best compromise between arcade and simulation ;) too bad they are so outdated by now

Don't you DARE to compare this to HAWX..  :bitch: This is a whole different kind of game that doesn't have it's plot ripped off from some self-repeating books that Clancy writes..

Yep, you are right. There is no comparison with H.A.W.X.S

...but I like Clancy's books :D I had Ace Combat Belkan War and it was shallow to say at least ... can't really imagine a fighter with 50+ sidewinders :P HAWX is the only game on PC I can compare to it :P

exactly, I find that dumb, because even arcadish F-22 Lightning 3 was much more fun to play even tho you would fire like 4-8 missiles or drop few GBU's thru whole mission yet still it was cooler than simply flying shoot'em all style  :facepalm:

they should give player opportunity to take-off, land, refuel fighter in air and reduce loadout to something more realistic :P

I never had a chance to get MS Combat Flight Sim :( although I really enjoyed F-22 (whole series) and F-16 (both from Novalogic)

It looks really good, gotta love that focus view when firing guns :D is this coming on PC too ?

Naw, PS3 and Fixbox only. Ace Combat has never been on PC, unlike HAWX.

Well if you guys want something a bit more realistic I'd say pick up Over G Fighters. A friend on XBL recommended it to me and I've been having a lot of fun with it. Probably as close to a sim as you'll get on the 360 at least.

I think this vid gives you a good idea of what to expect. But if you guys do play it change the controls to Realistic because arcade is just utter crap. Not trying to hijack the thread but you can never have too many flight combat games, right?  :thumbsup:

Looks like you can have 2 SP Weapons! In the first Vid, the F-22 Fired XAM4s (The missiles that fired at 4 targets at once) and QAAMs (The missile that looped around the Su-33).

Despite the fact that it's unrealistic, it's freakin' epic.  I love the fact that they've decided to go real world for this one and I hope they continue the series in that direction. :thumbsup:
