Title: LCD Rapid Flickering

As the topic says my LCD monitor has started to flicker rapidly everytime i startup the PC in the morning or if i go away for a while like an hour or more and come back it does the same thing. I use the ASUS 560 GTX which included a smartdoctor utility and its says my vid card is operating normally idle at 95F and goes up to 125F at full load like when im playing STO. I would like a second opinions from more experienced Techs than myself

You might need to enable the Vsync option in the display driver settings. This might take care of the problem.

I havent been able to find vsync on my driver settings. I should have mentioned this monitor is about 7 years old
