Hello Everyone!
I am a returnee to Bridge Commander. I remember when I first got this game and how excited I was playing it and controlling a ship myself. Childhood dreams come true! I have recently decided to play the game again on my laptop, which runs Windows 7, and I have sucessfully loaded the game only to get to the videos and the menu and have the video/menu all act jumpy. It flickers and I am not suree if it is because of running BC on Windows 7 or not? I have read through various postings and have re-installed BC on C drive in a new folder I aptly labeled BC. I have also tried to run it as adminastrator with different windows versions to no avail. I'm stumped as what to do next and I am open to ideas! Would love to be able to play this game again!
Thanks in advance! :)

hi
i dont know if this will work and i know you use windows 7 but...
years ago i used to play a game called Neverwinter Nights i had a similar problem with jerky video...
i looked through the internet and found something to do with the paging file system. I increased the paging file to its maximum size on my computer and when i loaded the game the video which was once jerky was perfect :dance
now i dont know if that will help but....
good luck

I can certainly give it a try! What did you put your minimum and maximum page file size? I have 124957MB to play with.

Yeah, BC never did like these cards. Can you even customize any of the settings of the graphics details?

you can, intel core chipsets have a VERY limited graphics card control panel, which is usually in your tray or accessed through control panel (but its not very good at all)
