Terradyhne took the yorktown class from star trek legacy and converted it to lightwave and .3ds mesh how ever it the textures that has
the registry number doesnt work it just shows up as a black spot there and his has a Daedalus from legacy that does the same thing
Is there someone can make a texture or do a completely new set of textures for this ship and the Daedalus as well.
Here are the pic for the yorktown. I would like the textures in the .tga format

its because the regestry isnt on the mesh, the part your seeing is an OVERLAY of the reg-mesh ie Nacelle_logo in max sacuer_logo for an example... the textures is a totally different part as well,
there is also another mesh inside it self for damage, bc dont use this,,,delete it
So here we go, lets try and right this in english :bitch:
The regestry mesh as i stated above with the _logo tag is actaully another part of the ship mesh Hoving very slightly over the top of the ship. this flying part of the mesh use's another texture alltogether normally found to be (as an example) F_Yorktown_logo1.dds (readable in photoshop with the nvidia plugins) now if u remove the hoving reg mesh u wont see that gray part... u could then texture stright onto the ship.... this is somthing u will have to do due to bc not using the same method as legacy...Since i was head modler at UUM i kinda made my name for my self there so this is kinda my fortay :P...if u need anything add me to skype and i'll talk u though it..

well i know i dont have the software to do it all i have is daz studio and gimp and i have no idea or skills in texturing and that stuff the gray blank parts are all on map and i have the file i could send it to some one and see what they could do with it. Even if they did a new set of textures and even remapped it what ever it take it get it looking right

theres no point in that, some one has already just copyed it over from legacy for this game, u would just be repeating the work of the aftermath team

Well i am not going to release it this would be for my personal use but i do wish ENT aftermath would be release for BC

Vladko1 did a lovely set of Yorktowns at one point for BC that looked just like this. the textures themselves were fine, but the hardpoints would overload BC, and needed replaced. if BCFiles was still working right, I'd say go check them out to have a look at the textures.
But Phoenix is right; BC has a completely different set of standards for ships and how the models work. the ported one would have to be really pared down and simplified because of BC's sheer age.

I know someone did a TOS version of the yorktown and i think he did a JJ version which i wasnt a big fan of but
i have been looking for the ENT version of the yorktown and confederation classes that are a part of Star Trek Legacy
I just wish there was a easy way to convert those to .obj so i could use them in DAZ but so far there isnt

yeah, a lot of programs fuss. but I still say his take on the yorktowns was pretty good, except for the hardpoints.
there was a JJ proxima that went with it. I analyzed his take on it, which has (due to its age, his skill level at that point, and the program he was using to make the mes) a very funky form.
I wish I could have fixed his take on the yorktowns.

yeah his Proxima TMP is a great ship and i hope in aftermath mod does have a TMP Federation Class and a good TOS Proxima or have Phoenix release his TOS Proxima

Yes a tmp proxima yes a tmp federation yes a tos proxima, the proxima is allready released

actually, there's two of them. one with warp lights, another vladko made himself with a lot of Phaser turrets on the saucer as an early type TMP
